Prospective Armguard employees are stringently screened for suitability in line with the requirement of the State of California, are bonded and smartly uniformed. They are required to provide proof of identity and evidence of previous employment and good character on a month to month basis for the five years prior to their application. All Armguard sites are supervised by mobile supervisors and are regularly visited by local and central management. By staying close to its staff and customers, Armguard is able to respond quickly and efficiently to its ultimate priority - the security and safety of its client's personnel and property. Normal wear for Armguard security officers is our standard uniform, navy blue trousers, shirt and black jacket. In some situations clients prefer security staff to be less formally dressed, for example in a Blazer and trousers. Safety clothing and equipment is supplied as appropriate. A computerized Officer Control System (Touch Probe) is installed on those sites requiring security officers to carry out patrols. This ensures that the security officer is fully accountable for his movements while on duty.
